SHAKESPEARE'S MACBETH IN THE BUFF???

In Arlington Virginia, the Washington Shakespeare Company got mixed reviews when they performed William Shakespeare’s play, MACBETH, in the nude.

The play’s director and cast say the production is fulfilling its artistic vision: exposing the primal nature of man's ambitions and fears.

Jose Carrasquillo, the director, said he’d read the history of the Scottish people and was inspired “to create a radically different visual presentation”.

I think the director and company did fulfill their vision. However, the article states, “an all-nude production of the Shakespearean tragedy is not for everyone.” I , for one, would be interested in seeing this production! *wink-wink*

Guess it gives new meaning to the term 'theater buff', huh?
