IN YOUR DREAMS!

A recent sex study done by the University of Montreal that revealed women are having more dreams about sex. Women dream about sex 8% of the time, which is an increase from forty years ago.

The study also highlighted other interesting findings which show how women are different from men in regards to sex. In women’s dreams their partners reach orgasm at least 4% of the time. According to the study, women are still assuming the role of ‘care-giver’ and seek to please our partners –even in our dreams!

Women also dream about past or present lovers about 20% of the time. Their brains release high doses of oxytocin which creates feelings of intimacy and affection during sex. The article states, “Due to these levels of oxytocin, women associate sex with strong feelings of emotion. This explains why their sex dreams are filled with people with whom they have an emotional connection.”

And, last but not least, the article concludes that women lust after rich and powerful men. “Even though women are perfectly capable of feeding and protecting themselves, there still seems to be a biological trigger that causes women to feel attracted to powerful men. Thus, women often have sex dreams about celebrities or other powerful people.”

Over the years, I’ve come to learn that men and women are definitely 'wired' different. I personally believe its one part of the great mysteries of life –there’s no explaining it. It’s just the way we are—but studies like this can give us some interesting insight to what makes us tick.

A *big* thanks to Chele-Belle for sending me this interesting article! :)
